Ryan Garofalo has been working in the field of developmental disabilities for over eighteen years, beginning his career as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).

While working in residential services, he filled a succession of roles including Senior Supervisor of Residential Services, graduated from the Hunter College School of Social Work and earned a LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work). In 2012, he joined IAC as the Director of IATS (InterAgency Transportation Solutions), before transitioning to his current position as Associate Executive Director for Adult Services in 2017.

His responsibilities at IAC include overseeing the Training Department and IAC Annual Conference, as well as acting as the IAC staff liaison for the Quality Assurance, Training Directors and ICS Committees; but he still finds time to maintain his reputation for being a die-hard Mets fan and fantasysports enthusiast!
