IAC was pleased with the article that appeared in the online Education News – Chalkbeat. The article was well researched and provided a realistic look at the current state of preschool special education in New York City. It asks the question “why are preschool student with disabilities struggling to find seats”. The IAC provided the reporter with much of the data that we had collected from our education providers about teaching staff losses and referred the reporter to NYSED documents and reports.
