DESCRIPTION:Members $175/ Non Members $200 \nDates: September 25th\, 29th\, 30th from 9:30am-3pm \nThis course certifies trainees to administer medications in OPWDD-funded residential and day programs. This course follows the OPWDD approved AMAP curriculum and includes: responsibilities of AMAP certification\, common medications\, side effects\, rights and responsibilities of administering medication measurement of vital signs\, and common abbreviations used in the medical field. \n  \n  \nIAC Cancellation Policy: We are unable to refund Registrations for Single day classes canceled with less than 24 hours notice and Registrations for Multi-day classes canceled with less than 48 hours notice.  No- shows will be charged the full registration fee.

DESCRIPTION:The new program Independent Intellectual and Developmental Disability Ombuds (IDDO) program was created by OPWDD to educate people with intellectual and developmental disabilities understand their rights\, help them advocate and support people navigating the OPWDD delivery system and mediate concerns related to service access and quality. This new program operates independently of OPWDD and does not replace care managers who assist individuals obtaining OPWDD services but is meant to provide an avenue for resolving issues and complaints when existing mechanisms have not produced a resolution. At this webinar you will learn the role of IDDO\, what services the program provides and receive information about its operating agency\nCommunity Service Society (CSS).\n \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND: Parents\, family members\, caregivers and professionals who want to enhance the\nlives of children\, teenagers & young adults.
