DESCRIPTION:Date: October 16th and November 13th 9:30am – 12:30pm \nIN PERSON AT IAC \npresented by E. Adel Herge\, OTD\, OTR/L\, FAOTA\, FNAP Thomas Jefferson University\, Philadelphia in collaboration with CaringKind. \nFree but registration is required \nThis training enhances participants’ understanding of dementia\, with an emphasis on managing challenging behaviors. Through interactive learning activities\, staff develop proficiency in applying a problem-solving approach to create effective care strategies. The main goal is to foster a consistent caregiving approach among both management and staff.\nThe training consists of two parts: Two 3 hour in person trainings and one virtual check in/coaching session. Zoom sessions are offered three weeks after the completion of the on-site training sessions. In this 20-30 minutes session participants share their experiences applying the knowledge and skills learned. \n  \nREGISTER HERE
