DESCRIPTION:Date: July 6th & 7th 9am – 6pm \nMembers $375 / Non-Members $400 \nIN PERSON AT IAC \nParticipants will learn safe & effective approaches to working with individuals who exhibit aggressive behaviors. Participants will also learn appropriate calming techniques\, preventive strategies to de-escalate adverse situations & proper techniques for physical intervention when all else fails. This training covers CORE techniques. Staff seeking training must work in OPWDD-certified settings. \nREGISTER HERE \n  \nIAC Cancellation Policy: We are unable to refund Registrations for Single day classes canceled with less than 24 hours notice and Registrations for Multi-day classes canceled with less than 48 hours notice.  No- shows will be charged the full registration fee.

DESCRIPTION:Date: July 21st 9:30am – 4:30pm \nMembers $150 / Non-Members $200 \nONLINE VIA ZOOM \nThose who have participated in IAC’s Incident Investigators training and have received a certification should be re-certified every 3 years. The course will include the following: \n\nReview of Protection of People with Special Needs Act and Reforms\nSocial Service Law Section 488\nOPWDD 624\, 625\nJonathan’s law\nSubjects of Abuse and Neglect/Process SCR and SEL\nInvestigations\nBest Practice\n\nAll participants will be required to pass an exam with a score of 80 or better to receive a recertification. Only those who have been previously certified at IAC may attend. \n  \nREGISTER HERE
