DESCRIPTION:Date: October 21st 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM\nMembers $150 / Non-Members $200 \nThose who have participated in IAC’s Incident Investigators training and have received a certification should be re-certified every 3 years. The course will include the following:\n\n• Review of Protection of People with Special Needs Act and Reforms\n• Social Service Law Section 488\n• OPWDD 624\, 625\n• Jonathan’s law\n• Subjects of Abuse and Neglect/Process SCR and SEL\n• Investigations\n• Best Practice\n\nAll participants will be required to pass an exam with a score of 80 or better to receive a recertification. Only those who have been previously certified at IAC may attend.\n  \nCancellation Policy: Registrations for Single day classes canceled with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded.  Registrations for Multi-day classes canceled with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded.  No shows will be charged the full registration fee. \n

DESCRIPTION:October 21st 10am-4pm \nIN PERSON AT IAC \nMembers $150/Non Members $200\n\nThere is an array of events that a nonprofit can initiate.  Some\, like bake sales\, won’t derive significant revenue\, but they do attract volunteers and can be helpful in terms of marketing.  However\, there are far better options than bake sales!  During this program\, we will highlight multiple options nonprofits can develop to raise money\, promote the mission of the organization\, and build community identity. \n\nWe will also discuss how to utilize social media for fundraising purposes.  This will include how to use your website more effectively and build communication vehicles to attract people to your organization.\n\nREGISTER HERE \nIAC Cancellation Policy: We are unable to refund Registrations for Single day classes canceled with less than 24 hours notice and Registrations for Multi-day classes canceled with less than 48 hours notice.  No- shows will be charged the full registration fee.
