Subject: NYS Homes and Community Renewal - Unified Funding RFP 2017

Good Morning,

NYS Homes and Community (HCR) renewal has recently released their Request for Proposals for the 2017 Unified Funding Round.  This RFP provides access to apply for 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits to fund affordable and supportive housing projects across the state.  Application materials can be found at the link below:

http://www.nyshcr.org/Funding/UnifiedFundingMaterials/2017/

Please reach out to NYS HCR if you have any questions regarding the Unified Funding application.

Additionally, HCR will be hosting three application workshops across NYS for interested applicants to learn about the Unified Funding process and project requirements.  Dates and locations are listed below:

ROCHESTER:

Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 10:00 AM

Rochester City Council Chambers

City Hall – Room 302

30 Church St.

Rochester, NY

ALBANY:

Friday, September 8, 2017, at 10:00 AM

NEW YORK CITY:

Even if your agency is not submitting a request for funding this year, these workshops may be a good opportunity to learn more about HCR’s expectations and process.  Please be aware, for projects intending on providing supportive housing units for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities HCR expects a capital funding commitment from OPWDD to be part of the financing structure.

Thank you.
