FULL SCIP-R Training-3 Day with Specialized/Restrictive Techniques

Participants will learn safe & effective approaches to working with individuals who exhibit aggressive behaviors. Participants will also learn appropriate calming techniques, preventive strategies to de-escalate adverse situations & proper techniques for physical intervention when all else fails. This training will cover CORE as well as specialized and restrictive techniques. Staff must state ahead of time which specialized and restrictive techniques they need. Staff seeking training must work in OPWDD-certified settings.
