IN PERSON- THE IMPORTANCE OF “WHY”

July 18 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

$140 – $190

presented by Katherine Gould-The Visions Center for Creative Management

July 18th 10am-4pm

Members $140/Non Members $190

People are motivated by knowing “why” something is important. It helps in making decisions and creates urgency in completing a task. In our field, why we do what we do is important. It is the organization’s overall mission. But the mission must be translated to staff in a way that helps inspire and motivate. Knowing the why keeps people motivated. It also helps promote retention. This training will focus on how to help staff understand the “why” in what we do. We will discuss current techniques that managers can incorporate in training and developing staff and in motivating performance focused on quality results. Asking “why” today is more important than it ever has been.
