Numerous challenges face managers every day. Sometimes, managers must speak up and fight for changes that are necessary or advocate for program needs. The problem is that managers can’t take on every battle. So how do you determine where to put your energy? This class will help you identify levels of importance and how to advocate in a manner that will produce results. Managers cannot solve every problem, nor can they be everything to everyone. However, we can utilize tools such as negotiation, documentation of needs, and present arguments in a positive way to get to yes. This class offers practical advice and strategies to help managers pick their battles and produce desired results.
