This class meets March 2nd and 3rd from 9am-6pm. Participants will learn safe & effective approaches to working with individuals who exhibit aggressive behaviors. Participants will also learn appropriate calming techniques, preventive strategies to de-escalate adverse situations & proper techniques for physical intervention when all else fails. This training covers CORE techniques. Staff seeking training must work in OPWDD-certified settings.
