Those who have participated in IAC’s Incident Investigators training and have received a certification should be re-certified every 3 years. The course will include the following:
- Review of Protection of People with Special Needs Act and Reforms
- Social Service Law Section 488
- OPWDD 624, 625
- Jonathan’s law
- Subjects of Abuse and Neglect/Process SCR and SEL
- Investigations
- Best Practice
All participants will be required to pass an exam with a score of 80 or better to receive a recertification. Only those who have been previously certified at IAC may attend.
